• "I was lucky enough to pick the best ‘One-Stop-Shopping’ catering group, Gourmet Catering, out of a half dozen options off of the Internet. When I talked with Sheri Smith she gave me great confidence that I was in good hands and that she would take care of everything for me. She promised me a successful BBQ event and that I would be a hero and it was all true. I was given the task of putting on a fiscal year end celebratory BBQ for 600 employees. It was going to be for both shifts feeding 525 on first shift and around 75 on second shift. Sheri was able to accommodate this. The menu options were very diverse and on suggestion we chose the Santa Maria Style Tri Tip BBQ fare. I needed a DJ, picnic furniture, and decorations as well. Sheri was able to arrange for all of this with very little involvement or effort on my part. The event went off without a hitch. Everything was perfect. It turned out so well in 2007 we repeated the event again in 2008. I would recommend Gourmet Catering and Sheri’s expertise to anyone. To this day if I mention the BBQ our employees still rave about the affair. We can only hope, if the economy allows, that we get to repeat this terrific experience again this June in 2009!
